QuickBooks integration

Effective September 15, 2026

End-user license agreement

This agreement covers the QuickBooks integration operated by Miko Inc. (the “Integration”). It is an internal business tool for authorized Miko personnel and advisers, not a service offered to the public. By using the Integration, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Authorized use

Miko grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the Integration for Miko’s bookkeeping, invoicing, payment tracking and financial reporting. You must have authority to access the connected company and its information. Access to a different company requires separate authorization.

2. What the Integration does

The Integration connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit’s API using a locally operated MCP server and an AI assistant. Available functions depend on configuration and authorization. They may include reading records and reports, preparing invoices and making supported accounting updates. Creating an invoice does not itself mean the invoice has been emailed. Payment records do not by themselves establish that funds have cleared.

3. Your responsibilities

Protect access credentials, use only information you are authorized to process, and check the accuracy of source records, invoice quantities, rates and accounting classifications. Do not bypass access controls, disclose credentials, use the Integration unlawfully, or direct it to access another party’s records without permission.

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Authorized users remain responsible for reviewing proposed actions and the resulting records. The Integration does not replace professional accounting, tax or legal judgment, and does not guarantee compliance or filing accuracy.

4. Third-party services and software

QuickBooks Online, Intuit APIs, OpenAI services and any other services used with the Integration remain subject to their own terms, account settings and charges. The underlying open-source software remains governed by its applicable licenses; this agreement does not replace those licenses or grant rights to third-party trademarks. Miko operates this integration independently and does not claim Intuit endorsement.

5. Privacy

The Integration privacy policy describes how information is handled. Only connect a company and use an AI workflow when you are authorized to share the relevant data with the service providers involved.

6. Availability and limitations

The Integration is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free results or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Miko disclaims implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Ending access and changes

You may stop using the Integration at any time. A QuickBooks administrator can revoke its connection in QuickBooks. Miko may suspend or end a user’s access when authorization ends, misuse occurs or the Integration is discontinued. Disconnection stops future authorized API access but does not undo earlier accounting entries or delete existing copies. Miko may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date; users should review changes before continuing use.
